Meditation practice can help you sort out your days, bring inner peace even when the ‘outer world’ seems to be catastrophic. These techniques I teach are traditional-age-old ways of personal mind control that, with practice, can keep you in a still place even in a full on ‘drama storm’. Of course, this is no silver bullet, and just trying it once or twice will not give you the lasting benefit of a consistent and well guided practice. We offer free practice times every week and have workshops for beginners as well as mini retreats for those more comfortable with the process of mindfulness or ‘Shamatha/Vipassana’ meditation.
Personal sessions are $75.00. We will sit together, I will guide you through the first part and then we will practice together. I request that each person that signs up for personal classes commit to coming to the weekly free classes for at least two months as well as practice at least 10 minutes every day to get a good result.
The biggest part of success for meditation and mindfulness is to practice. You have been practicing stressing out or having anxiety, worry, fear, resentment, etc for a long time. This will take some time to subside and eventually fade away. Then your real state of being will be one of meditative bliss.
This does not mean that you will not have stressful things happen or worry, be afraid, angry, or anything like that, but what will happen is you will spend less and less time enslaved and slathered in those emotions and be able to let go and be more calm, mindful and still… really, I know.
